Our Mission

The Ocean Beach Community Development Corporation (OBCDC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the vibrancy of the Ocean Beach neighborhood.

We were founded in 1993 by a group of residents dedicated to preserving and enhancing the unique character of OB through capital improvement projects, volunteering, and establishing affordable housing in Ocean Beach. Our volunteer Board of Directors meets regularly to discuss upcoming & ongoing projects.

The OBCDC members work with government agencies, private foundations and individual donors to create and/or coordinate resources for revitalization projects benefiting the Ocean Beach community. After more than a decade of successful projects, the OBCDC has become an integral part of Ocean Beach and will continue to do so with the help and support of the community.

Through the hard work and dedication of outstanding community volunteers, the Ocean Beach Community Development Corporation (OBCDC) serves as a vital resource for neighborhood projects and community beautification efforts.
